The General settings page is split into two parts: General Information (core identity) and Organisation Profile (branding and public-facing media).
General Information
Section titled “General Information”School identity
Section titled “School identity”| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Your school’s display name — shown in the header, reports, and the landing page |
| Slug | The URL identifier used in every link for your school (e.g. /schools/my-school/…). Editable — see below. |
| Status | Active (green) or Inactive (red). Managed by the platform; shown here for reference. |
Changing the school slug
Section titled “Changing the school slug”The slug is the unique identifier used in every URL your school generates. To change it:
-
Click Edit next to the current slug.
-
Type the new slug. Rules: lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only; 3–100 characters; no leading or trailing hyphen. Spaces are automatically converted to hyphens.
-
The system checks availability in real time — a green tick means it is free, a red cross means it is already taken.
-
Click Save. The browser navigates to the updated URL automatically.
Country & currency
Section titled “Country & currency”The country selector in the top-right corner of General Information controls both the country flag and the currency used on fee records and invoices.
-

-
Click a country to select it. The country and currency are updated together immediately.
