Report Cards
Premeena generates two levels of report cards automatically from the grade records you enter — a term report card summarising one term, and a year report card aggregating all terms into a final weighted result.
Term report card
Section titled “Term report card”The term report card shows a student’s performance across all subjects in a single term. For each subject it shows:
- Every assessment: name, max score, score earned, percentage, and grade letter.
- A subject aggregate: overall percentage and grade letter for the term.
- Pass/fail status per subject.
To view:
- Navigate to the student’s profile.
- Open the Grades tab.
- Select the term from the dropdown.
Year report card
Section titled “Year report card”The year report card shows a student’s aggregated performance across all terms in the academic year. Each term’s contribution is weighted by the term grade weights configured for the student’s grade level.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Term | Each term in the academic year with its configured weight (e.g., Term 1 – 30%, Term 2 – 30%, Term 3 – 40%). |
| Subject average | The student’s average percentage for that subject across the term’s assessments. |
| Weighted average | The year-end grade: each term’s subject average multiplied by the term’s weight, then summed across all terms. |
To view:
- Navigate to the student’s profile.
- Open the Grades tab.
- Select the academic year view (instead of a specific term).
Term grade weights
Section titled “Term grade weights”Term grade weights define how much each term contributes to the end-of-year grade for a specific grade level. For example:
- Grade 5 — Term 1: 30%, Term 2: 30%, Term 3: 40%
- Grade 10 — Term 1: 25%, Term 2: 25%, Final Term: 50%
