Premeena Help Center

Premeena is a school management platform that brings together everything a school needs — student records, attendance, fees, timetables, report cards, and parent communication — in one place.

This help center has guides for every role. Use the sidebar to navigate, or jump to the section that matches your role below.

Premeena is built around four roles, each with their own dashboard and set of tools.

School Owners

Create and manage schools, enrol students, configure academic years, run fee collection, and oversee the entire institution.

Managers

Day-to-day administration: approve leave, manage timetables, handle admissions, and generate reports.

Teachers

Mark attendance, enter grades, build timetables, communicate with students and parents.

Parents

Track your child’s attendance, view grades and report cards, pay fees, and read school announcements.

Each role enters the platform differently:

  • School owners create their own account at sma.premeena.com/signup and go through an approval process.
  • Managers, teachers, and staff receive an email invitation from the school owner.
  • Students and parents are added by the school — they receive login credentials directly.

A few terms that appear throughout these guides:

Organisation Your top-level account on Premeena. A school owner has one organisation, which can contain multiple schools.

School An individual institution within your organisation (e.g. a primary campus and a secondary campus). Most settings — academic year, classes, fees — are configured per school.

Academic year The period that defines your school’s calendar. Attendance, grades, and fee cycles are all scoped to the active academic year.

Class / section A group of students who share a timetable and teacher. Students are enrolled into a class for the academic year.

Position A named staff role (e.g. Class Teacher, Vice Principal) that carries specific permissions. A staff member gets access based on their position, not just their user role.
